World Social Forum - 2005 - The annual gatherings of global civil society activists and movements offering an alternative forum and visions to the World Economic Forum, the annual gathering of the global elite.

Alternative Information and Development Centre (AIDC) - A South African NGO with a focus on globalisation and development. Look at their Archives and Alternatives newsletter.

Open Democracy is a not-for-profit global network for debate and invention.

One World - an impressive website of this international network of co-operative centres.  The many articles in their section on Globalisation look interesting.

ZNet's Global Economics Crisis site - a source for understanding global economics and trade issues.

Organisation Development Links

The Center for Alternative Development Initiatives (CADI) is a Philippine-based civil society organization (CSO) dedicated to the study, encouragement and implementation of sustainable development through threefolding, partnerships. CADI was established in February 1988 to spread the reality of holistic sciences and philosophies of human beings, society and nature.  

Oasis School of Human Relations - The Oasis School of Human Relations is a not-for-profit organisation based in the beautiful village of Boston Spa, near Wetherby. We're an educational establishment focusing on human relations; peer learning and development are at the very heart of our work.

The Communication Initiative -  A bold initiative to bring the web to development.  It aims to: "Advance the extent and quality of communication and change information, Improve strategic communication thinking on development issues, Expand dialogue, debate and review of key communication issues and programmes, Effectively advocate the importance of communication for sustainable development."
