Technological advances continue to challenge us
at all levels. The internet, computers and all other digital technologies
are rapidly expanding possibilities (for better or for worse) for
communication and information exchange in a series of global communications
leaps. We are not sure where those leaps will land us but in the
meantime websites and emails are increasingly enabling connections
between development practitioners.
This website is one platform to share and make accessible
what we do, what we think, what we feel about what we are all involved
in. It is also an informal, hands-on research project to keep an
eye on where communications technology is moving and can be moved.
This website has mostly been used by people wanting
to find out about our Courses or
to download our
writing. We recorded just over 30000 downloads of articles
in the last 12 months and an average of 300 visitors per day. Our Nuggets
subscription section has also grown to nearly 1000 subscribers.
We also have an
Associates site which
offers extra resources and services to people who have attended our
courses, action learning groups and Biennial..
